Although there is still no news on exact date of Touchpad coming to market but Digitimes is reporting that we might see HP taking that step in April.

First-tier notebook brand vendor Hewlett-Packard (HP) is set to start selling its WebOS 3.0-based tablet PC, TouchPad in April with shipments to start delivery by the end of March, according to sources from HP’s upstream component partners.

Good to hear that, its time webOS tablet made its presence in the market.

Finally after months of speculation and leaks the first webOS tablet aka Touchpad is here and it looks good. Here is a glimpse of the tablet from the pictures shared in the live even currently underway :

The session is still going with lots of things being share right now, gaming, video calling, magazines and more amazing apps. Pretty soon we will have loads of official stuff available. Really waiting for the videos to go online so that can see the tablet in action .

Follow are the specs, the 1.4 Ghz snapdragon processor is just impressive, giving the phone a edge in terms of performance.

The HP is currently going in SF and they just announced the latest phone to join the webOS famliy aka HP Veer. It looks small but indeed is powerful.

HP Veer Specs include 8GB storage, HSPA + and Snapdragon 800 MHZ processor.

With very few days remaining to the official announcement of the webOS tablet, the details keeps pouring in on the upcoming tablets. After a initial scoop, there are more details being leaked around web. Newest to join the race is the Topaz specs, which are as follows :

1.2 Ghz Adreno 220 GPU
512MB of DDR2 memory
Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
Front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera
Dual-band 802.11b/g/n WiFi
Will come with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage options

HP Palm webOS Tablet Details Leaked

At the Feb 9 we will see HP releasing 2 webOS based tablets aka the 9-inch Topaz and a 7-inch model codnamed Opal. These details were outed by Engadget which showed a rendering of a possible final product.

There were not much details of the specs but the webOS tablets might feature :
1. 1.2 GHz Processor
2. Front Facing camera
3. Micro USB ports
4. 3 speakers

The tablet indeed looks promising and good looking. Will keep updating as more news comes out on this.
