Another tweak surfaced in the Palm Pre, where you can use the screen in Landscape mode in Email app. Just type “RocknRollHax” on the keyboard while you are in email app and you will be presented with a landscape view. Please note the the code needs to be exactly as stated above including the capitalization.
So have fun with the code. Although I am not sure whether it will make any difference for writing emails as there is no on screen keyboard and writing emails with Palm Pre keyboard on a landscape screen can pretty difficult

Works great…but only works with current instance of app. You have to type it again if you close the Email app.
couldn’t get anything to happen… is there a certain screen to be on first? Is there an “enter” afterwards? Would love to have landscape e-mail… Thx
