Here is some details of the apps which got showcased:

NASCAR

This app will be a must have for NASCAR fans, feature wise app was able to show the video highlights, even dates plus driver profiles and stuff.

Sprint TV

With this app one will be able to watch TV on Palm Pre by choosing from loads of channels. I was not able to judge the video quality properly so we have to wait on that. One thing which came out that, you will need full screen turned on to use this app, as it will not work with the card feature.

Google Maps

Google was showcased with a universal search feature and plus it is infact a live card app, which means it will run in background while you do someother stuff on Pre.

Pandora

Pandora was one of the most talked about app in the whole presentation as it utilizes the many starred features of Pre. First it runs in the background, its a “card” convertible app. Secondly when you move away from the app to do other things, one will be able to see the app in the notification bar in the bottom of the screen. So, for a quick access user have to just tap on the notification bar and it will show the app details. Plus the notification bar also shows a message when the song changes. So, pretty neat stuff there.

Fandango

Fandango app to book your movie tickets online, it works and shows the movie theaters according to your current geographical location. Another handy app for doing some quick ticket booking online.

Amazon Music Store

Since Palm is not having a iTunes like store, so Palm Pre will utilize the Amazon music store. So, users will be able to buy songs plus they will be able to see the usual lists like top 100 and stuff.

FlightView

This app will surely be liked by frequent Air Travelers. With this app users will be able to track flights regardless of the carriers and check out the flight status at any time. One of the coolest feature of the app is that it shows the current location of any flight even when its in air using the maps, which is pretty impressive.
