Palm Pre is coming in summer 09 in US. But since there is absolutely no official news on the worldwide release dates or when exactly its going to be released in other countries. But people in European countries can surely be satisfied by the fact that atleast Palm Pre carriers are declared like O2 in UK or Movistar in Spain etc.
But I am really worried that people in India might have to wait longer and by longer i mean around 8-10 months after it gets released in US. As there is still no news from Palm, regarding the network carrier in India, whether it will be Airtel, Vodafone or Reliance. Same with thing happened with iPhone as well, infact the first version of iPhone didn’t even land in India it was after one year when iPhone 3G was released and then it made to Indian shores. Palm Pre fans in India including me will be pretty disappointed if same story is repeated with Palm Pre as well.
Regarding the network carrier i think Vodafone might end up as front runner and bag the deal for Palm Pre, as they lost it in UK so they might fight hard to get in India atleast.
I will be writing a mail to Palm regarding the Palm Pre details for India, lets see what they come with. I will share the details here. So stay tuned

Lol…Palm pre is CDMA set..so Vodafone and Airtel are ruled out…it would be on Reliance…

Palm Pre does have a gsm version and its already launched in europe. So, you never know where exactly it will end up.

Nope nothing till now, I think they might be launching Palm Pixi first here in India.
